I am going to tell you about Bristol,

which is in the southwest of England, not far from Bath, the sixth biggest city in England.

Bristol has become one of the most important trading ports because it is on the coast and two rivers are running through this city. It has beautiful scenery and many bars, restaurants and café, which lie on the riverside and where people can enjoy their spare time. A lot of people also go to the cinema, go boating and fishing when the weather is good. In winter and autumn it is not so good because it can be cool or very cold, but in spring and summer it is almost mild.

Bristol has plenty of historical places such as St. Nicholas Church and St. Mary’s Redcliffe Church (13c), which is the tallest building here. The most noticeable architectural feature is the Clifton Suspension Bridge, 75m above the water, suspended between two cliffs, and has nothing to support it except cables.
