Units Explanation

Each Unit contains:

1. A reprintable word document devoted completely to a particular topic providing vocabulary, topical issues related to that topic, flexible writing practice, and structured essay writing practice.

2. 2 mp3’s representing an entire interview on that topic (12 – 15 minutes), beginning with part 1 and 2 questions relating to yourself and that topic, and finishing with a part 3 with abstract questions about the topic.

The first mp3 is completed as a model and should be used for listening and spelling practice before completion.

The second mp3 is the same interview without student answers. By keeping a copy of this, you can, using a free progamme like Audactity, edit and answer the questions as many times as you need.

3. 2 video tutorials

The first (approx. 10 minutes long) is about the various kinds of writing task 2 and how to practise and prepare before and during the test.

The second (approx. 5 minutes long) is about the various kinds of writing task 1.
